Shifting Planes
This series emerged after more than two months away from the studio, a pause shaped by the loss of my beloved studio companion Oliver. His absence left me feeling stuck, but in returning to my practice I've found his inspiration living on in my mind and heart.
The works explore both rupture and connection, with layered planes of acrylic and collage creating contrasts between movement and stillness. Each piece is created on wood panel, finished with cold wax to unify the surface and presented in a wood floating frame.
