Finding Their Way

Every piece in this series was something else first. Finished works that stay in the studio, unresolved, waiting. Then one day they found new direction -- new form, new energy, new life. 

I built back into them with acrylic and mixed media. Added layers, pushed shapes, let things break through. Flutter. Intersect.Soar.Risk. Titles coming after, once I saw what they had become. 

These pieces are about transformation. What was finished becoming unfinished, then becoming something truer. They're proof that a painting isn't done just because you stopped working on it. Sometimes the work needs you to come back.

They move. They don't settle. They found their way.
